Hand deburring is our specialty. By definition, we are able to neaten and smooth the rough edges or ridges of an object after the part has been
machined, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques. We are able to finish all types of parts from micro sized which are deburred under a
microscope using both hand and rotary tools, to larger sized parts which need material removed with sanders and grinders.
Since we deburr by hand, this allows for proper inspection, as well as ensures precision, quality, and consistent results. At Precision Optical Deburring we will guarantee your part will be deburred to your specific requirements.

Our buffing and polishing process removes unwanted metal and imperfections. We use a range of buffing tools and materials that allow
us to provide the part it's final finish. Our buffing and polishing process also ensures no damage will be done to the part.
Depending on the project, we often use tumbling in order to clean and polish small parts. Tumbling has been around for many years and has proved to be an efficient and effective method of deburring as its able to bring media in contact with workpieces in a consistent way.
For parts that have hard to reach areas and or are inaccessible, for example intersecting holes, we utilize electrochemical deburring which is a deburring process that uses electrical energy to remove burrs in a specific location. Our small ECD machine allows us to not only reach those areas of parts that cannot be reached by most other deburring methods, but provides us a method to dissolve burrs electrochemically resulting in scratch proof damage free consistent results.
